Joe Jencks

My Granddad came over in 1914 from Athy, in County Kildare. This is the first chance I have ever had to go sing and play and be a tourist in my other homeland. A shame it has taken this long... but better now than in 20 years. In the next few years I will be touring more and more in Ireland, the UK and in the EU. I am excited about this first new step in a global touring career.

I will be co-leading a tour with Irish guide and musician Tom Piggott.

Plans are already underway for a tour in the summer of 2008, which will likely include Pinkie Bergman (Cello & Voice) and Helena Nash (Voice) playing and touring with me! I am looking forward to it very much!

My first Day in Ireland will be spent figuring out how to drive on the other side of the road... and getting my bearings in other ways. Sure to be a sleep deprived adventure. :-)
