Peace Rally at the Salina Regional Airport

This will be a great demonstration fashioned after the style of the SOA Watch  teach-in/ protest. It will entail music, speakers, and a solemn, peaceful procession.  A great gathering of people useing their talents in service of their conscience.

7:30 a.m. Peace Walk leaves Hotel for Salina Regional Airport
9:00 a.m. Multi-Faith prayer service begins
9:30 a.m. Prayer Service ends and rally begins with "This is my Song" sung by everyone (Joe/Fred?)
9:50       Music by Joe & Iain
10:10 Speaker:  Frank Cordaro
10:30 Music:  Joe Jencks and Iain Campbell Smith
11:00 Speaker: Jeff Leys, VCNR
11:20 Speaker IVAW
11:40 Music:  1-2 sing-a-longs with Joe & Iain
11:45 Everyone reads NV statement, line crossers line up across from fence.
11:50 Line Crossing Spokesperson reads statement; smaller Affinity Group speakers read statements if desired.  Folks cross line to hang banners and ribbons on fence.  MC closes rally after arrests, announces how to do jail support if desired, thanks everyone for coming.
